Carrie's place was absolutely amazing and we had a wonderful stay. There was definitely a wow factor especially the upstairs suite, which is huge. The bed was so comfortable. We slept great and had a wonderful time. It feels fancy and right at home at the same time.
We enjoyed our few night stay while passing through the area on a trip. Felt private and in the country but not too far from town.

We stayed at Carrie’s place for a quick girls getaway weekend and absolutely loooooved this home! It’s tucked away 20 minutes from Chattanooga and was the perfect space to rest and decompress. So peaceful and clean! Will absolutely look into staying here again! Carrie was quick to answer all of my questions, both before and during our stay. These were FANTASTIC accommodations. Great spot overlooking mountains
We had a lovely stay here for our family Christmas! The house is quite spacious, and the property is peaceful and private. Carrie is a great host - friendly and communicative. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a great stay at Misty Mountain. The house is spacious, clean and well stocked. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. Easy access to Chattanooga attractions, highly recommend!
We had a wonderful stay. It was very quiet and the view and sunsets were stunning. We loved having the master bedroom separate from the rest. Almost its own apartment we could retreat to away from everything else. The fire pit was awesome. We cooked in the roomy kitchen, played games that were provided, and really enjoyed being together in such a beautiful and private location. We were there for a graduation at UTC and it wasn’t too far of a drive for that, maybe 20ish minutes. Highly recommend!

Refundable Bookings
Cancellation deadlines:
- For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
- For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
- Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
Fair-Refund Policy
If you cancel after the deadline:
- Yellow Door Vacation Rentals will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
- The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
Half-Now, Half-Later Bookings
- The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
- The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy above.
Non-Refundable Bookings
If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Date Changes & Rebooking
Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself. If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
Transfers to Another Guest
You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge. Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email. The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
Policy Match Guarantee
If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Yellow Door Vacation Rentals will match it.
