Everything was great! We loved the house and its proximity to everything. We will definitely add to our list to visit again!
Was a great place for me, my wife and two poodles! Great location not too far from down town but just far enough that traffic doesn’t keep you up! Carrie was very responsive and willing to work with any requests that I had! The fenced in part of the yard isn’t big enough for bigger dogs to run/ play in, (big enough for them to go out and do their business) but if you have smaller dogs it would be fine! I would recommend this place and any other place that Carrie has to anyone!
Cute home for a quick getaway. The only downside was specific to my family since we have 2 kids and a baby. It was a little smaller than we needed but everything else was great!! So cutely decorated, close to everything, and had everything we needed. They even had a pack n play stored away which was a lifesaver! I think if it’s just 2-3 people, it’s perfect. With that being said, my husband and I will be back - kid free!

Great place to stop for the night on our long road trip. I really appreciated the fenced-in backyard so my dogs could stretch their legs. The house is very comfortable and peaceful - I wish we could have stayed longer!

My husband and I booked a last minute trip and we are so glad we decided to book this home. It was very cute and we felt right at home with how cozy it was! We would definitely stay here again when visiting the Chattanooga area and definitely want to bring our dog with us next time since there is a private fenced back yard!
This house is so cute & very clean! Any questions that came up, Carrie was quick to respond. I was very comfortable throughout my stay!
Overall, we had a good stay - the location was convenient, house was clean, bed was comfy, and the host was easy to communicate with. The house was fine - since it’s older it had some quirks. The bathroom was tight, hardly anywhere to put your stuff, the top light would flicker, and the shower pressure was weak. The bedrooms didn’t have any real storage so we just had to leave our suitcases open on the floor. Finally, there was a large HVAC/air vent grate in front of the hallway so we had to step over it/on it often - it was pretty annoying given it was in such a high traffic spot. Since we have a toddler and an older doggo, the grate was something we had to have them both constantly navigate around since neither of them liked walking directly over it. This may not bother everyone (didn’t see anyone else mention it in their review), but sharing as a heads up for others who may have similar issues.
Great space & exactly like it is described. Perfect location - easy to walk to a coffee shop and restaurants. We stayed with 2 dogs & it was great to have the *fenced in yard space*. The home is cute & cozy, the bathroom could use a little updating, but it is in an older historic home, so to be expected. Centrally located & lots of amenities left in the b&b such as extra towels, laundry detergent, trash bags etc. We enjoyed it & would recommend this listing.

Cancellation policy
Refundable Bookings
Cancellation deadlines:
- For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
- For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
- Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
Fair-Refund Policy
If you cancel after the deadline:
- Yellow Door Vacation Rentals will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
- The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
Half-Now, Half-Later Bookings
- The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
- The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy above.
Non-Refundable Bookings
If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Date Changes & Rebooking
Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself. If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
Transfers to Another Guest
You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge. Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email. The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
Policy Match Guarantee
If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Yellow Door Vacation Rentals will match it.
