Carrie’s place was a great place to relax after a big day. The open floor plan is very spacious and calming. The home still has its historic charm and there was so much for our family to do in Chattanooga we actually extended our stay twice. Thank you for everything!
Very spacious and clean. Kitchen was well equipped too. Had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed being only a few minutes from Chattanooga to do some exploring.

Very spacious and clean. Kitchen was well equipped too. Had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed being only a few minutes from Chattanooga to do some exploring.
We just stayed at this incredible house for the Thanksgiving holiday. The host was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions. Also, I loved the open concept and being able to see from the kitchen to the dining room, to the living room. 10 out of 10 recommend.
It was a beautiful place that was very peaceful. We only needed to stay 1 night but we enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again.

Carrie’s place is lovely! Very nice home with spacious kitchen and nice living and dinning areas. Loved the laundry/mud room, perfect for taking off the work boots after a long day and bee-lining to the fridge for a bevy. Very old construction, which leads to its own bit of charm and nuance! For example the outlets are all on the floor and located in weird locations for the space. The floors are sloped and crooked in some areas. The light switches only make sense if you’re entering from the front door, which is not possible unless coming in from a sit on the front porch. There are space heaters placed in smart locations, which is great for the fall temps :) Very enjoyable stay with everything you’ll need for comfort and peace while staying in this beautiful home. Truly a Gem worth staying in for sure if it’s available!

Cancellation policy
Refundable Bookings
Cancellation deadlines:
- For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
- For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
- Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
Fair-Refund Policy
If you cancel after the deadline:
- Yellow Door Vacation Rentals will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
- The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
Half-Now, Half-Later Bookings
- The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
- The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy above.
Non-Refundable Bookings
If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Date Changes & Rebooking
Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself. If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
Transfers to Another Guest
You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge. Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email. The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
Policy Match Guarantee
If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Yellow Door Vacation Rentals will match it.
